Frames for 1-3/4" doors are formed from commercial quality cold rolled steel conforming to ASTM A366 or A620 & A568 ...or hot-dipped galvanized steel conforming to ASTM A924 and A653.
Frames are knocked down (K.D.) field assembled type or welded unit type. Head and jamb members of K.D. frames have diecut mitered corners that interlock rigidly when field assembled. Integral door stops are 5/8" high. Jambs are sized to suit wall applications. Twist-in anchors are available for new masonry, wood stud, metal stud or existing opening wall conditions. Floor anchors or jamb anchors are provided to anchor sill. Welded-in jamb or floor anchors are also available.
Design flexibility utilizing frames with made-to-order profiles and dimensions. Within tooling limits, Ceco frames can be specified in made-to-order dimensions for depth, throat, face, rabbet, soffit, or backbend to include a caulking groove, shadow box, splayed trim line, splayed top, stepped rabbet and others.

Ceco DU and BU Series Drywall Frames have been design engineered to be installed on standard or non-standard wall sizes over pre-finished or unfinished drywall board.



































DQ & BQ Drywall Frames











Ceco DQ and BQ Series Made-to-Order Drywall Frames are engineered to be installed on standard or non-standard wall sizes over pre-finished or unfinished drywall board.
DQ indicates a slip on Drywall frame with 'equal' frame rabbets.
BQ indicates a frame with 'equal' frame rabbets designed to be installed 'before' the drywall is installed.
